With that said, starting one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL and some questions at head coach will likely keep the Commanders out of the playoff mix. Washington boasts a top-10 defense and its offense will surprise a lot of people in 2023. It’s slightly unfortunate as the quarterback is the one position holding Washington back from becoming a viable contender.
